Of course! I'm glad to do that and I hope you find value in our comments and feedback. I'm wondering where are you getting inspiration from for these articles and where the idea of Leadership reflections came from?

The idea of Leadership Reflections came from wanting to talk about leadership but not as if I am the one teaching lessons, but the one asking questions and reflecting on experiences... so to me it is more about sharing perspectives to help think clearer rather than trying to have the final word.

I understand, makes sense and thank you for explaining. Also looking from a recipient point of view, sharing one's perspective, thoughts and experiences helps open the conversation, makes people think, ask their own questions and clarify within themselves the concepts or ideas discussed. We all learn together from a point of sharing and caring and not from a point of teaching or having the ultimate truth.

Very true! Also we are students all or most of our lives... we never stop learning. Sometimes we can be teachers/facilitators and help others gain the knowledge we have.

I try to pay attention to everything that surrounds me and when I pick up an idea, a line, a concept... I reflect on what it means to me and how I can extrapolate the wisdom to other situations in life...

What a great article, so much truth in this piece! We often are so focussed/fixated on the end outcome or achievement, also comparing ourselves to others where they are in their journey that we overlook our own achievements or successes and take what we have for granted. We need to enjoy the journey and take in the view. Also made me remember a quote I saw a few weeks ago which had a huge impact on me; "To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded."

Thanks Mark! Glad it sparked some thoughts!! I loved personally this idea of what each eye does as a metaphor of the balance between the internal and the external worlds we have to balance as we walk our life journey

Agreed! We need both eyes at all times: one to see and one to feel; one to see inside and one to look outside. Then we have the whole picture

What a great way to start the weekend by reading and reflecting on life's meaning and purpose! Great article Sebastian! A friend called yesterday and asked if I knew what's the meaning of life. My answer was: yes I know and I thought about it and for me it's a simple concept which is very similar to the walking dot, life's meaning is the meaning we give to it, it's the finite number of dots between the first and the last and how much intention, purpose and happiness we give to each dot along the journey. Some people needs complex philosophy to explain it, for some others being kind to people can be the meaning of their lives, helping others, smiling often, laughing, spending time with family and friends, traveling. It doesn't have to be complicated but needs to be genuine and authentic.
