“Out of nowhere, the mind comes forth.”
This sutra (aphorism) belongs to ‘The Diamond Sutra’, the world oldest dated printed book, approximately 1,100 years ago.
It acts like a secret key to unlocking the understanding of how our mind works, with the humility to create new ideas ad the dangers of enslaving us in overthinking and fear.
Imagine our minds like puzzles made up of all our experiences, memories, influences, learnings, fears, dreams. Sometimes, all these pieces come together in surprising ways create exciting new experiences, sometimes they come to haunt us when we least expect it.
The Diamond Sutra tells us “Don’t dwell anywhere and then bring forth that mind.”
What does this mean?
It means not rejecting anything or clinging or attaching to anything. It means spaciousness. It means meeting each moment with an attitude of openness and acceptance. This is a mind that doesn’t make distinctions, let things flow.
Remember, the mind expresses itself without warning!!!
“Lead yourself, Learn to live. Lead others, Learn to Build.”
