A monk asked Zhaozhou, a Zen master,
- "What is the meaning of the patriarch's coming from the West?"
Zhaozhou said, "The oak tree there in the garden."
The answer that the master provided had nothing to do with the initial question, but it doesn’t matter.
Here is the insight
- Words do not express the fact. Words cannot describe everything.
-Speech does not deliver the function; the heart's message cannot be delivered in words.
-Attached to words, one loses reality. If one receives words literally, you will be lost,
-Stagnating in phrases, one is deluded. If you try to explain with words, you will not attain enlightenment in this life.

Beautiful reflection, Sebastian! The concept is very similar to one of the rules I always keep in mind stating “There is a lot to be said about things that haven’t been said...”
Beautiful post and reflections!
